We are excited to announce that TCBY Is Opening a new store tomorrow in the Sugar House area of Salt Lake.
I was actually lucky enough to get a sneak peak at this new store today and I have to tell you it is like no other place around. With 10 different flavors of yogurt, and over, well I forgot to count, but a LOT of toppings. It’s a new self serve concept store where you get to make your own treat. Grab a bowl, mix your flavors add as many toppings as you want.
In addition they have an AMAZING drink machine that has 106 different flavors for you to choose from.
I highly recommend anyone in the Salt Lake area to visit this store this weekend. It’s conveniently located at 2274 South 1300 East right across from the Cinemark Sugarhouse Movies 10.
In case you didn’t know the Cinemark Sugarhouse Movies 10 features movies for only $1.50 (actually only 75 cents on Tuesdays) so come catch a movie and then top off a wonderful evening at TCBY.

We want to extend a Congratulations to one of our customers, Five Guys who once again has hit the news for their incredible growth.
Five Guys has more than 500 locations with plans to open 200 more this year, according to its website. The chain keeps its menu simple: burgers, fries, hot dogs and grilled cheese sandwiches, though patrons can customize their orders with a choice of 15 free toppings.
Five Guys has made a foodservice splash and served such high-profile customers as President Barack Obama, who ordered a burger with jalapenos, lettuce, tomato and mustard during a visit last spring, according to NBC.

What image does your employees’ appearance portray? I recently spent a week in a client’s Conrad Plaza office. One of the benefits my client offers employees is a daily buffet lunch served on the premises by a catering company. I have no complaints about the food. It was comprised primarily of wholesome, healthy traditional dishes.What I found interesting however, was one of the server’s attire. Given that appearances do count and that servers handling food do make an impression on the people being served, I was surprised to observe that for five days straight, one particular server proudly showed up to serve food in a thoroughly wrinkled, off-white chef’s coat, presumably his uniform.
The daily visual assault made me wonder what kind of place the food was prepared in and if by letting the caterer get away with crumpled uniforms my client was hurting, as opposed to helping the catering company’s prospects for future business growth.
What makes that particular catering company – and other service providers that ignore employee appearance – a loser? Unkempt employee uniforms are unappealing, make a poor impression and are not the way to attract new customers.

Important memo released by OSHA on March 19 regarding the enforcement policy for FR clothing in oil and gas industry.
While the oil and gas industry has worked to reduce the risk of flash fire incidents, these efforts have not eliminated the occurrence of flash fires, nor the resulting burn injuries and fatalities. The use of FRC greatly improves the chance of a worker surviving and regaining quality of life after a flash fire. FRC can significantly reduce both the extent and severity of burn injuries to the body.
